This is the page where I tell you who I am – my passions, my desires, what matters to me and things like that.  Tall order. I will see what I can come up with.

First and foremost, I consider myself a  mother.  I have two wonderful children who are my heart and soul, respectively.  I respect the people that they are and hope that they make their lives meaningful and wonderful in ways that suit them.

I dabble in the arts – I quilt, paint, draw, write poetry and try my hand at most anything I can think of.  I am currently in the quilting mode and feel that my skill is increasing with every new endeavor.  I love color and fabric and making things that are both pleasing and practical.  I will be posting pictures of them when I get to it.

I love to cook – and will tackle just about any style that I encounter in my readings or TIVO collection of cooking programs.  It’s a way in which I am able to nurture others – which seems to be one of my paths in life.

I work at the Book Club of California in San Francisco, and find the job fun and exciting for the most part.  The members are interesting and varied, and add to life a nice dash of interesting experiences.

I have been married for a very long time – almost 37 years at this writing, and I suppose that has added a good amount of stability to my otherwise flighty and easily distracted existence.  I feel that I have learned much in my life about many practical things, and have been extremely lucky as fortune has smiled on me more often than not.

I am grateful for all the good things in my life and in the world.  It is a grand and glorious journey which I hope to continue to experience for a good long while. I hope to share some of my interests here on this website and I hope that you enjoy reading and viewing them.
